ProHive Armour

A Caribbean brand

BUILT FOR THIS CLIMATE — NOT ADAPTED TO IT

Most beekeeping gear sold into the Caribbean was designed somewhere colder. Heavy cotton suits cut for a temperate spring, then worn through a wet season at thirty degrees and high humidity.

ProHive Armour exists because that is the wrong equipment for this climate. We are a Caribbean brand, and we select every suit, veil and glove for tropical conditions first — airflow ahead of bulk, weight ahead of padding, and construction that keeps working season after season.

That is why we do not stock a traditional cotton suit. Both of our suits are ventilated mesh, chosen for beekeepers who spend real hours in the yard in real heat.

“Gear chosen for the way we actually keep bees here — hot, humid, and year round.”

— What we select for

WHAT WE SELECT FOR

Climate

Ventilated mesh construction throughout. The Triple Layer suit puts a hollow foam mesh core between two polyester mesh layers; the 3D Air Mesh suit uses spacer mesh at 260–280 GSM. Both move air continuously instead of trapping it.

Comfort

Lightweight enough to wear through a full inspection without fatigue. A unisex cut sized S–3XL to go over your normal clothing, with freedom of movement for lifting, splitting and harvesting.

Utility

Genuine YKK® zippers, reinforced high-wear areas, detachable Round Hat or Fencing veils, elastic cuffs, thumb and foot loops, zippered ankles for dressing over boots, and pockets where you need them.

Regional distribution

STOCKED IN THE REGION

Importing a single suit into the region means freight, brokerage and duty on one item, and a wait measured in weeks. We hold stock in Barbados so you are not carrying that cost or that delay on your own.

We are building distribution across the OECS so beekeepers throughout the Eastern Caribbean can buy locally rather than importing individually — with the same gear, the same sizing support, and the same after-sale contact.
